te Pā has won two Gold medals at the world renowned Sydney International Wine Competition.
Our 2015 te Pā Sauvignon Blanc Oke, and our newly released 2016 te Pā Pinot Gris both won Gold, judged with food, at the highly regarded wine competition.
The sublime Oke - which is the Maori word for oak - is a barrique fermented Sauvignon, and it took out the Gold medal in the Sauvignon Blanc category of the show, while the gorgeous Gris won Gold in the Medium Body Dry White Wine class.
These latest wins follow in the footsteps of a string of awards for our growing te Pā Family Vineyards range of wines, with our new Pā Road Pinot Noir winning the trophy for Champion Wine of the Marlborough Wine Show in October 2016, and our te Pā Chardonnay winning gold at the International Wine & Spirits Competition. Of course, who could forget our 2014 Koha Pinot Gris taking out the title of Marlborough Wine of the Year at the China Wine & Spirits Awards this year?
