Flying high with Air NZ Wine Awards
te Pā and its new range of Pā Road wines continues its meteoric trajectory, with recent wins at the Air New Zealand Wine Awards.
te Pā 2016 Pinot Gris, with its classic notes of white pear, nectarine and jasmine, has won a silver medal at the ANZWA. The latest win follows up on two gold medals won at the NZ International Wine Show and the Marlborough Wine Show, as well as a stunning 94 points and 5 stars from Sam Kim of Wine Orbit.
Not to be outdone, the alluring 2015 te Pā Pinot Noir has also won a silver medal at ANZWA, adding to the gold medal it took out at the China Wine & Spirits Awards earlier in the year, and a silver medal won at the NZ International Wine Show. With two 91 point reviews from Bob Campbell MW and Sam Kim, this broody Pinot Noir is a wine to be reckoned with.
Of course, the real star of the show is the Pā Road 2016 Sauvignon Blanc. With generous aromas of grapefruit, black current and fresh herbs, the newest addition to the te Pā family of wines is already making waves, taking out a silver medal in the Air NZ Wine Awards. The latest medal win for Pā Road comes hot on the heels of a gold medal win at the NZ International Wine Show, and 93 points and 5 stars from Sam Kim of Wine Critic.
Pā Road is now available in a range of supermarkets and wine stores across New Zealand, so make sure you keep an eye out for this heritage-rich, award-winning (and surprisingly well-priced) range of Marlborough wines. te Pā is now also available in an expanded number of fine wine stores, as well as some of the country's most loved cafes, bars and restaurants.
