Wine Spectator says Koha by te Pā is 'top value'
Respected US wine publication, Wine Spectator, has named our 2014 Koha Sauvignon Blanc one of its 'Top Value' wines.
Wine Spectator's annual New Zealand wine report features some of Aotearoa's best and brightest wineries, so we're keeping great company. Senior wine reviewer, MaryAnn Worobiec of Wine Spectator, gave the Koha Sauv 89 points and said it's one of just 14 'top value' wines from New Zealand.
Already making waves throughout Canada, our 2014 Koha Sauv is growing a cult following and it's pretty clear why that is. Check out a few highlights from our tasting note for this classic Marlborough Sauv:
"Intense aromas of grapefruit and tomato leaf with lively passionfruit and floral notes adding allure and complexity. This wine delivers delicious citrus and gooseberry flavours with a crisp, refreshing finish that is synonymous with Marlborough."
Wine Spectator's latest glowing review of the Koha Sauv builds on awards it has picked up since its release in 2014. It won a Gold medal at the prestigious International Wine & Spirits Competition in 2015, followed by a Silver medal at the San Francisco International Wine Competition earlier this year.
Check out the full tasting note and technical sheet for the Sauv and if you try it, let us know what you think! If you would like to stock the Koha range of wines, or would like more information on any of te Pā Family Vineyard's family of wines, feel free to get in touch. We'd love to hear from you!
