Awarded, acclaimed, and loved by critics and customers alike, te Pā is our flagship range of wines.
The release of our first ever wine - the 2011 te Pā Sauvignon Blanc - was met with critical acclaim. Cuisine Magazine called it New Zealand's top Sauvignon that year. So we thought to ourselves, why stop there?
From our home block vineyard at the historic Wairau Bar in Marlborough, te Pā's range has expanded to include our barrique fermented Sauvignon Blanc Oke, a trophy-winning Pinot Gris, a Pinot Noir Rose and a Pinot Noir. In 2016, we released our first ever Chardonnay, which went on to win Gold medals at two of the world's most prestigious wine competitions - the Decanter World Wine Awards, and the International Wine & Spirits Competition.
Today, te Pā is exported to the United States, Canada, China, the UK, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and South Korea. Here in New Zealand, te Pā is available through select wine stores and restaurants. But wherever in the world you enjoy te Pā, the taste of home is always unmistakable.
We've grown our vineyards significantly since we planted our first grapes in 2002/2003. From humble beginnings with 150 hectares at the Wairau Bar, we expanded our footprint to over 500 hectares across the Marlborough region, including 100 hectares under vine in the highly sought after Awatere Valley.
Our wine making philosophy is to respect the fruit and let the fruit shine - and that approach is paying off.
From the Decanter Awards, to the China Wine & Spirits Competition, to the San Francisco International Wine Competition, right back home to the New Zealand International Wine Show, te Pā is our most awarded range of wines and it holds a special place in the hearts of all our team, and our customers.
We'd like to introduce you to the range:
