We are over the moon to announce the latest accolade for one of our flagship wines. Our sublime, newly released te Pā 2016 Pinot Noir has been awarded 95 points in the Premium Selection
wine competition, which is run by New World.
Just a handful of New Zealand wine producers were scored at this level, so we are stoked to be in this select group.
Our te Pā Pinot Noir is a gorgeous single vineyard wine, from the prestigious Southern Valleys sub-region of Marlborough. Pinot Noir from the Southern Valleys
of Marlborough is renowned for its sophisticated, fruit forward style and silky smooth texture.
Check out the judges' comments:
"This wine has a dark ruby red colour, aromas of cherry fruit and a savoury crushed shell minerality. The palate exhibits fresh floral red fruits, raspberry, black cherry and wonderful savoury complexity. The tannins are silky with an elegant long finish."
Keep an eye out for this gorgeous (and gold medal!) wine, and if you're a New World shopper, be sure to check the wine section out in the next few months and if you see this sophisticated Pinot Noir on the shelf, grab one!
