Big wins at the NZ International Wine Show

  • by Mikela Dennison

We are incredibly proud to share some exciting new results from our nation's biggest wine competition - the New Zealand International Wine Show.

Our te Pā 2025 Pinot Gris has won the highest award of a Double Gold medal, and 98 points, putting us in the running for the prestigious trophy award for the Pinot Gris category.

te Pā 2024 Pinot Noir, and Pā Road 2025 Pinot Noir Rosé were also highly awarded, both winning a Gold Medal and 95 points each.

This is an outstanding result, in one of the most competitive wine shows we have in Aotearoa-New Zealand.

The 2025 competition was presided under the Chairmanship of Bob Campbell MW, New Zealand’s most experienced senior wine judge and a leading wine educator.

The senior judging team includes a number of leading winemakers, including Larry McKenna, John Hancock and Tony Bish, and many key industry personnel. Most of the senior judges have each been involved in major wine competitions for more than two decades and bring a wide range of expert knowledge skill and consistency to the sampling and scoring of the awarded varietals.

We're so proud to be included in such great company, with many of New Zealand's best and brightest wine producers also featured in the Double Gold and Gold Medal winners lists.
