Finalist in the New Zealand International Business Awards
This week we received the fantastic news that we are finalists in not one, but two categories in the New Zealand International Business Awards.
We are proud and humbled to be finalists in both the 'Best Medium Business' and 'Māori Excellence in Export' categories, after being shortlisted in August.
This is such exciting news, and shows that the hard work of our team is paying off with quality wines, a great story and authentic, unique heritage, and strong relationships with our amazing customers.
Founder and owner of te Pā Family Vineyards, Haysley MacDonald, says of the incredible result; "To be named as a finalist in two categories in the NZ International Business Awards is a real point of pride for us all here at te Pā.
"The NZIBA submission process itself has been a great opportunity to reflect on our journey to date, and to recognise all the decisions, relationships, and miles that have gone into building the business and our brands, around the world.
"I'd like to say a special thanks to our incredible team for all the hard mahi and dedication over the years, and to our distribution partners for your trust and support to build these brands together in a really competitive landscape.
"Next year will mark our 15th grape harvest and vintage since launching the te Pā brand, and honestly I am just as passionate and enthusiastic about this business and the opportunities in front of us, as I was back in our first year.
"Ngā mihi nui to New Zealand Trade & Enterprise who organise the awards - with a special shout out to our long-time NZTE customer manager, Hare Pitama for all the support over the years. We'd also like to acknowledge Kiwibank, and the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, and Te Pūni Kokiri, who are the respective sponsors for the Best Medium Business and Māori Excellence in Export categories."
The winners of the NZIBA will be announced in Tamaki Makaurau-Auckland on Thursday 27th November 2025.
