Top score for te Pā Oke in Jamie Goode's Wine Anorak
We are delighted to share that our iconic te Pā Sauvignon Blanc Oke has received the highest score out of the Appellation Marlborough Wine Annual Collection wines, on Jamie Goode's 'Wine Anorak' website.
The popular wine blog is seen by many as a trusted source of great wine reviews and recommendations, by the well-known and widely read wine writer and book author.
Jamie recently tasted through the 12 wines selected to represent the best of the Appellation Marlborough Wine collective's 'Annual Selection', in which our highly acclaimed te Pā 2024 Sauvignon Blanc Oke was included.
Check out Jamie's review and stunning 94 point score for our Oke below:
"...It’s a really beautiful alternative expression of Marlborough Sauvignon, with taut aromatics of lemon, grapefruit and some smokiness. The palate is complex, taut and layered with ripe citrus and pear, and a touch of aniseed. This is very white Bordeaux in style, but zippier, with a wide dynamic range. 94/100."
Aroha nui to Jamie for highlighting one of our best wines, and well done to our Appellation Marlborough Wine peers for their great results in this prestigious tasting also. Read the full review, and check out the other highly scored wines, over on Wine Anorak (click here).
