This week we're sharing a couple of fantastic new reviews on Jancis Robinson's website, one of the most influential wine websites in the UK.

JR website reviewer and Master of Wine, Julia Harding, tasted through over a hundred wines at the recent Susie & Peter "NZ Wines of the Year" event, and wrote up some kind words about two of our top drops, including calling our newly launched te Pā Signature Series Reserve Barrel Fermented Sauvignon Blanc, a "Good Value" wine: 

te Pā, Signature Series Barrel Fermented Sauvignon Blanc 2025 Marlborough

Lightly smoky/flinty from the barrel and the winemaking, with that clementine-peel note that I associate with reduction. Dry, concentrated, very fresh, full of green fruits and fresh herbs, the oak adding spice and texture. GV for an oaked Sauvignon. Pea-pod aftertaste. (JH). 16.5/20.

te Pā, The Reserve Collection Seaside Sauvignon Blanc 2023 Marlborough

Rich passion-fruit aroma and flavour. Contrasting with the lightly salty freshness on the palate. Tastes dry, finely textured – dry finish. Mouth-watering and harmonious between fruit and freshness. Persistent and surprisingly youthful. (JH). 17/20.
